The tapioca cheek colour is a gorgeous natural blush.¶ÿThe star ingredient is tapioca starch, extracted from the root of the cassava plant. Donƒ??t be fooled by how soft it feels, this blush has serious staying power, taking you effortlessly from day-to-night with a healthy rosy glow. It delivers a matte finish with a touch of shimmer to add dimension to cheeks. The two flattering shades Paris and Tokyo mimic the natural undertones in your skin offering a delicious glow. The cute tapioca cheek colour in a mini compact is also refillable! When you run out, keep the packaging and replace with a new magnetic refill insert to reduce waste.

    Subtle and shifts colors

    For those who enjoy using vintage powder compacts for refillable face powders, Ere Perez sells refills of this blush! They just aren’t available on Ulta yet. The powder inserts are 1.94 inches or 4.93 centimeters in diameter.

    Tokyo Pink is a lovely, subtle pinkish-orange! I think this is best applied with a larger powder brush. I think it may look more pink in context if your lips are pink, or you are wearing pink lipstick. If your lips aren’t pink or you wear non-pink lipstick, it will likely look more orange.

    And just like the full description says, your perception of the color while wearing it will probably change depending on your skin’s undertone. If you have rosy skin undertones, I think it will look pinker. My undertone is neutral leaning warm.

    However, the powder itself was more orange than I expected based on the name and the first top-down picture of the opened powder compact. See the pictures with the models holding up their compacts for a more accurate impression of the color of the powder as it looks in most environments. The pictures still do show the real color, and it seems like it was designed to appear to change colors based on the context and lighting, so I won’t dock any stars. It’s just that the first things I saw made me think it would be pinker than it looks most of the time.

    I am inexperienced with wearing makeup, but this blush lasts longer than the blush from a big name company I tried. On my oily skin, it lasts at least 10 hours. You may still…

    Very nice and natural.

    I was pleasantly surprised with the color and texture. However if I were to suggest an improvement it would be to reference the natural bronzer from Rimmel. It is killing me to do this but their sunlight is incredible. I bought it at pharmacy on the fly but the color and effect has proven its weight in gold.

    Finally I really love the compact case.
